Barry E. Neal

Mr Neal is a senior energy and private equity executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in electric power project development, marketing, finance and management, and in creating, structuring and implementing private equity funds for the electric power sector. He has recently provided strategic, management and analytical services for clients, including:

• Orion Energy LLC
• Verde Power LLC
• Farallon Capital Management, LLC
• Blue Hill Capital/Advanced Renewables
• Enova Systems, Inc

Most recently, Mr Neal was founding partner and Managing Director of a new business unit of El Paso Energy formed to raise and invest a private equity fund and create other financing and investment products for the electric power sector. Investment targets included conventional and renewable energy generation projects, new power technologies and related development companies. Mr Neal bore primary responsibility for fund development and marketing and was involved in all aspects of managing EP Power, including strategic planning, developing investment strategies and identifying investment opportunities.
